The African Diaspora Food & Culture Festival

A Celebration of Flavor, Culture, and Community 

The African Diaspora Food & Culture Festival is a family-friendly cultural celebration showcasing the rich culinary and musical traditions of the African Diaspora including African, Caribbean, and Texas Soul food accompanied by live Afrobeat, Caribbean, R&B & Hip Hop, and Zydeco.

This three-day festival will unite families, foodies, artists, and history enthusiasts through a shared experience of food, rhythm, and heritage. The event will feature a food competition with a grand prize of $5000 judged on taste, food appearance, and cultural authenticity, as well as storytelling installations exploring the history of soul food and Austin’s deep Black culinary legacy.
