Founder

Dawn Burnside, brings over 15 years of experience in project management, event production, and equity and racial justice work. Since 2020, she has led transformative, community-centered initiatives that uplift Black culture, expand access to the arts, and build strategic partnerships across Austin.

Emmett Marsh

Project Leader

Desirae Cesar is a higher education leader and community advocate committed to leadership development, equity, and student success. She serves as the Administrative Director of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (M&T) at the University of Pennsylvania. Desirae is the Founder of She’s Something to Watch, Board President of the Carver ATX Foundation, a Trustee of the Philly Free School, and an active leader with Women of Color at Penn (WOCAP), where she chairs the WOCAP Leadership Academy.

Fadeelah Muhyee —— Queen Deelah

Music Director

Queen Deelah is a dynamic hip hop artist, entrepreneur, and music director known for blending powerful storytelling with purpose-driven work. Since 2020, she has served as Co-Director of Stretch Music Band, helping shape sound, vision, and live performance experiences. From 2023 to 2025, she played a key role in curating Juneteenth lineups at the George Washington Carver Museum, amplifying culture, legacy, and emerging talent. As of 2026, she will serve as Music Director for the Carver ATX Foundation, further expanding her impact in arts and culture.

Christine Pasculado

Activations Director

Christine Pasculado is an Austin-based Filipino American community leader and activist. For the last 20+ years, she has been committed to producing impactful programming and events that connect and celebrate the cultural communities of Austin and beyond. Christine considers it her life's work to uplift institutions and organizations that demand equality, dignity, and respect for all.

Eleanor Parks

Youth Art Chair Director

Stephanie Chavez Noell is an Austin-based artist, educator, and community advocate whose work centers on the power of creativity to bring people together. With over 20 years of experience in dance, music, and movement-based learning, she creates interactive, culturally rooted experiences that celebrate connection, storytelling, and shared traditions. As Director of Community Arts at Parents’ Climate Community, she continues to design experiences that connect families through culture, creativity, and collective action. Her work often highlights how everyday traditions—like gathering, cooking, and making art—carry forward cultural knowledge and resilience.

Asia Haney

Marketing Director

Asia Haney is a dynamic marketing director and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience creating impactful campaigns and large-scale events. As the founder of Elements of Echelan—where energy meets elevation—she specializes in curating elevated experiences ranging from corporate activations to community-centered celebrations. Her background in higher education leadership has equipped her with a strategic approach to brand storytelling, recruitment, and audience engagement. Driven by creativity and purpose, Asia is committed to helping organizations and businesses amplify their vision and leave a lasting impression.

Freddie Crocheron

Lead Graphic Designer

Freddie Crocheron is an illustrator and graphic designer based out of Austin TX. Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Freddie has dedicated his professional career to the arts as an illustrator, a graphic designer, a curator, and as a creative director. During his career Freddie has managed exhibition spaces, developed marketing materials and merch for a wide variety of professional clients, and has sold his original pieces in a number of reputable small press expos and conventions around the country.
